Thanks to American Plant Garden Center & Nursery for their generous donation!
The Audubon Naturalist Society and GreenKids would like to thank American Plant Garden Center & Nursery of Bethesda, Maryland for donating more than $700 worth of native plants to our Woodend Sanctuary and our GreenKids schools.
The plants will be cared for this winter by GreenKids horticulture students at Sherwood High School. This spring, GreenKids students across Montgomery County will plant these wonderful plants in butterfly and habitat gardens on school grounds.
Volunteers have already planted some of the natives in demonstration gardens at the Woodend Sanctuary.
We hope to make this native plant donation an annual event with our good neighbor American Plant Garden Center & Nursery!
