If you live in Loudoun County and want to introduce your child to the great outdoors, come visit the Broadlands Nature Center. This wonderful nature center is located just south of the Dulles Greenway at 21907 Claiborne Parkway, Broadlands, Virginia.
The Nature Center is a fun place to visit with hands-on exhibits for kids, live animals, a children's reading room and informative eco exhibits. The Nature Center is also home to several natural habitats including ponds, meadow and wooded areas to explore.
The Audubon Naturalist Society (ANS) and the Broadlands Homeowners Association (HOA) have partnered to provide nature programs for the community. All programs meet at the Nature Center. We will go outside for most programs so please dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy shoes.
ANS offers programs for Scouts, families, birthday parties, after school, PreK and K, and parents with toddlers.
Nature Center Hours are: M-F 9-5pm, 2nd Saturdays 10-2pm. The Nature Center is also open two additional Saturdays a month. Please check the Broadlands HOA newsletter on-line (www.broadlandshoa.org) to find open dates and see upcoming program information. Please note that the naturalist's schedule may vary based on animal care and programming needs. If you need to get in touch with the naturalist quickly the best way is to email firstname.lastname@example.org
