GreenKids Participates in Share the Adventure's Crayon Recycling Program
GreenKids schools joined other families and volunteers in a wonderful crayon recycling program during the run of Adventure Theatre's much celebrated production of "Harold and the Purple Crayon."
|
Thousands of crayons were brought to Adventure Theatre and
various locations around the area to be sent to CrazyCrayons.com, a crayon recycling program. Some crayons were used by Adventure Theater and the Children’s
Inn at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for a fun arts and crafts project. Art creations from recycled crayons were given to young patients at NIH’s Children’s
Inn. |
